Vindhynager: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at promoting health and hygiene NTPC Vindhyachal organized a menstrual hygiene awareness program for rural women and adolescent girls at the Gahilgarh West Anganwadi Centre on June 3, 2026. During the program, Dr. Mayurakshi Bharali, Manager (Medical), provided the participants with detailed information regarding health precautions to be observed during menstruation, the importance of hygiene, and measures to prevent infections and other health complications.
On this occasion, free sanitary pads were distributed to approximately 200 women and adolescent girls, and guidance was also provided regarding their proper usage and safe disposal. The event was attended by David Deshmukh, Executive (CSR); Dr. Mayurakshi Bharali, Manager (Medical); Savita Patel, Junior Officer (Medical); and Devmati Babu Nandan Bansal, Ward Councilor, alongside Anganwadi workers, assistants, and a large number of local women. This initiative reflects NTPC Vindhyachal’s steadfast commitment to women’s health, dignity, and community welfare.
